Our Story: The Birth of eBotto
Every great idea begins with a story, and ours starts with Thara, a dedicated radio jockey (RJ) and a loving mother, who juggled both her demanding job and the responsibility of raising her children. As an RJ, Thara connected with thousands of listeners every day, but she felt a growing struggle on the inside. Despite her passion for her work, she was constantly torn between her job and the desire to provide her children with the best education and opportunities.
Like many parents, Thara wanted to offer her kids more than just the basics—she wanted them to be curious, to grow emotionally and socially, and to have the chance to explore a wide range of subjects. However, between managing her radio career and parenting, finding time to give them the kind of educational support she dreamed of was nearly impossible.
One evening, as Thara shared her struggles with her close friends, Mujeeb and Sajan, the conversation took an unexpected turn. Mujeeb, a tech enthusiast, and Sajan, a passionate educator, listened intently to Asha’s concerns. They understood her frustration because, in their own ways, they had also experienced the challenges of balancing work, family, and education. Together, they began to brainstorm an idea that would not only help Thara but also parents and children everywhere.
What if there was an educational tool that could support children’s learning in a fun, interactive, and engaging way—without requiring parents to sacrifice their careers or their children's education? What if learning could happen anytime, anywhere, and with the right guidance, it could provide a more holistic education? The three of them—Thara, Mujeeb, and Sajan—decided to build that very solution.
eBotto was born from their shared vision. Thara’s drive to give her children the best education, Mujeeb’s technical know-how, and Sajan’s passion for teaching came together to create an app that would empower children to learn at their own pace, explore new subjects, and develop important life skills.
The name “eBotto” symbolizes the connection between "education" and "bot," representing the tech-driven, interactive nature of the app. With features designed to nurture curiosity, foster social awareness, and provide personalized learning experiences, eBotto is not just an app—it’s a companion in every child’s educational journey.
